Discovering the rainbow in my life

As I am set to journey on the path for my ‘Purpose Driven life’, I’d like to assess the colors of the rainbow as it ascertains to my growth. Colors influence our being. In our dress, office space and even in the bedroom. I will be researching how colors when changed can enhance my life’s journey.

Now my favorite colors are purple & gold. I always dreamed of a wedding laced in these colors. A wardrobe tends to dictate your mood. The weather can be a factor for many (I know it does for me). So I’d like to follow a daily journal of the colors and their affects.

What I know about the rainbow? In the book of Genesis 9:13-15, the rainbow was the remembrance of God’s covenant to flood the earth no more to destroy all flesh. What a great covenant. Does this relate to the manner of which we are to live? Maybe.
When I took the color quiz as a tool to begin my search, the statement below is the description of my results.

You have dreams and desires, but are lacking the energy to make them real. You may be an intelligent person with ambitious plans, but you are missing the passion you admire in others. Add some red to your life to encourage more activity and energy. Red is the color of vitality and passion.

These are some of the things that are most important to me. How can I get on the path of achieving them all? One day at a time, I presume.

1. Enhance your life (including finding the love of my life)
2. Attain financial success
3. Make the right career decisions
4. Increase your personal power

I understand the colors have simple meaning as describe next.
Blue – spirituality (truth, peace)
Yellow – wisdom (joy, happiness)
Red – vitality (action, confidence courage)
Orange – creative energy (endurance)
Green – life, balance, nature
Indigo – infinity (royalty, magic, mystery)
Violet – Spiritual mastery

Now I can relate to the blue, yellow, and green. I would like to add violet to my life immediately. I would like to possess orange and red too! Let’s see where I am the next time I blog. Thanks for reading my blog and for following my personal adventure.
